However, most of the entries on DMOZ are non-commercial in nature so you have to be very careful to have much more content that commercialization on your site in order to get listed. Don’t forget about the smaller directories for specific niches. For instance, I found a great directory for my organic site that lists “Environmentally Friendly Businesses”. Submitting your website to directories will definitely increase wesite traffic but it's a time-consuming process so set aside a little bit of time every day for this task. Or find a student who you can pay by the hour to do this for you.
