Adwords TipsThe best place to start a pay per click campaign is with Google Adwords. It's
not hard to learn how to do it especially if you're using Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide to Google Adwords .
Perry Marshall was the first one to figure out how to work Google Adwords without spending a lot of money but
getting the most return on investment.
If you don't know what you're doing, you could end up spending a lot of money with nothing to show for
it.
The first tip is to control your cost through your daily budget, not your
monthly budget. They tell you that you can get started for as little as a $1 a day but your ads won't even appear
on the search engine pages. If you're budget is $30 a month, start with a daily budget of $10. If you do set up the
rest of your campaign right, you won't spend that in one day.
The second tip is to check out who your competition is and how much they are bidding per
keyword. Perry Marshall goes into more depth on this subject but there are sites that are specifically set up to
tell you this information.
The third tip is to do your keyword research and use "exact match" keywords until you get a
feel for how people are responding to your ad. If you use exact match keywords, there will be no wasted clicks when
your ads show up on a page that's not relevant to your campaign.

Perry Marshall has a free 5 day course where he instructs you on the basics of Google Adwords.
He evens provides a "cheat sheet" that will help you understand the best strategies for your Google pay per click campaign. I highly recommend it. I actually bought the Definitive Guide to Google Adwords and created a
campaign for my Agility Dog Training Site. Within 24 hours, I had made a sale from my campaign. It was definitely
worth the investment.
